# Forward Deployed Engineer — New York

You sit with the client. Not on a weekly call — on their floor, in their environment, building against their constraints. The last mile is where most data and AI work quietly dies, and this is the seat that exists to stop that happening.

## What you’ll own

- Standing up working software inside a client’s estate, fast, and iterating on it in front of the people who will use it.

- The integration reality — their auth, their network, their data contracts, their change process.

- Translating what you learn on the floor back into the product and platform teams.

- Adoption. The measure of the role is whether the workflow changed, not whether the code shipped.

## What we look for

- Strong generalist engineering — you can build a service, wire an integration, and put a usable interface on it.

- You are comfortable being the only engineer in a room of operators and executives, and you keep your judgement there.

- Experience in enterprise environments, or the temperament for them: procurement, security review, and a change board are part of the job.

- Willingness to travel to client sites across the region.

New York, with travel across the region as accounts require.
